Au fil de ces deux décennies, une relation solide s’est construite entre nos deux institutions, portée par le respect mutuel, la mémoire partagée et un profond attachement aux valeurs de service, de justice et d’humanité. Cette relation, nous ne l’avons jamais oubliée.

Malgré les années récentes marquées par des circonstances exceptionnelles – la pandémie de Covid-19, les restrictions internationales de déplacement, et notre engagement opérationnel pour la sécurisation des Jeux Olympiques et Paralympiques de Paris 2024 – notre volonté de maintenir ce lien n’a jamais faibli.

La délégation initialement envisagée en septembre 2024 n’a pu se concrétiser, mais l’année 2025 marque pour nous un temps de renaissance, de continuité et de fidélité.

Nous souhaitons, à cette occasion, rendre un hommage particulier à Wilton SEKZER, figure centrale de cette aventure humaine et associative.

Son engagement, sa mémoire et son humanité ont été la pierre angulaire de notre relation avec le NYPD.

Son souvenir reste au cœur de chacun de nos échanges et de chacune de nos actions.

Nous exprimons également notre profonde reconnaissance aux hauts responsables du NYPD qui, au fil des années, nous ont accueillis avec chaleur et respect : Commissaire Raymond KELLY et William BRATTON, ainsi que le First Deputy Commissioner Rafael PINEIRO, dont les marques de reconnaissance et le soutien envers notre association ont renforcé notre mission et nos convictions.

En 2025, c’est avec honneur, humilité et engagement que nous renouons avec force nos programmes, opération avec le NYPD.

Nous aspirons à rencontrer la nouvelle génération de policiers new-yorkais, à partager nos expériences et à transmettre les valeurs qui fondent notre fraternité internationale depuis le 11 septembre 2001.

Cette reprise est bien plus qu’un simple retour : elle est un hommage au passé, un acte de fidélité au présent, et un engagement résolu pour l’avenir.

Over the course of these two decades, a strong and meaningful relationship has been built between our two institutions, founded on mutual respect, shared memory, and a deep commitment to the values of service, justice, and humanity. This relationship has never been forgotten.

Despite the recent years marked by exceptional circumstances—the Covid-19 pandemic, international travel restrictions, and our operational involvement in the security of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games—our determination to preserve this bond has never faltered.

On this occasion, we wish to pay special tribute to the NYPD retired Sergent Wilton SEKZER who passed away may,14, 2020.

He was a central figure for our association and his commitment, his memory, and his humanity were the cornerstone of our relationship with the NYPD.

His legacy remains at the heart of every exchange we have and every action we undertake.

We also express our deep gratitude to the leadership of the NYPD who, over the years, welcomed us with warmth and respect: Commissioners Raymond KELLY and William BRATTON, as well as First Deputy Commissioner Rafael PINEIRO, whose recognition and support of our association have strengthened our mission and reinforced our convictions.

In 2025, it is with honor, humility, and renewed commitment that we reengage with strength in our programs and operations with the NYPD.

We look forward to meeting the new generation of New York police officers, sharing our experiences, and passing on the values that have shaped our international brotherhood since September 11, 2001.

This renewal is far more than a return—it is a tribute to the past, an act of fidelity to the present, and a resolute commitment to the future.
